Who's Hooked was my third flyfishing watercolor in the series. I was surprised and delighted when I discovered how popular the art of flyfishing was. I say the art of flyfishing because to watch these commanders of the stream cast is like watching a conductor of a fine symphony….
I had never actually fly-fished before, yet I was painting these pictures. Finally, the opportunity came. I went out with a Professional guide on one of the great rivers in Montana. I loved the rhythm and movement involved in casting. It was like dancing to a beautiful rhapsody—at least, that is my description; my other description is this piece of art.
I was new to this great outdoor sport but realized I was already hooked. Thus, Who’s Hooked was created.
