I started selling needlepoint graph patterns when I was very young. Graphed patterns were significant in Canada but not so much in the United States.
I had some of my needlepoint designs advertised in McCalls Needlepoint Magazine. I worked for The Covered Bridge Shop in Missoula, Montana.
Pheasant Walk is a watercolor piece that reflects my time working for this little shop. Although I have done a lot of Covered Bridge art, this is the only one I have done as a Watercolor.
