Catch and Release, my third piece in the Fly Fishing Series seems to follow WHO’S HOOKED naturally. I can identify with the feeling of Success, caught one! Only to have it escape. In this case, I let the line-breaking cause the release.
I included the background in this piece to make it more complete. I felt I successfully emphasized the breaking line, which had to be the center of interest.
I did the Fly Fishing Show in Ennis, Mt. The man who produced the show and assigned the artist chose this piece as his personal favorite. It was an honor for me to remarque it for him. He wouldn’t accept it as a gift for getting me a space at the event—he paid for it!
